DMBFT made an appearance at the Dowerin Field Days last week and made a splash with our new display containers. Many people stopped by our displays and were extremely impressed with the professionalism and technical knowledge shown by Michael, Daniel and Jamie.
A POSITIVE shift in the outlook for this season, as a result of last week’s rain, is expected to have a huge impact on the success of this year’s Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days. This coupled with the success of last year’s 50th event, which attracted record exhibitor numbers and a 20% rise at the gates, will no doubt result in an event to be remembered. Dowerin Events Management Chairman Ashley Jones said 2015 once again attracted a record number of businesses, with a 5% increase in exhibitor numbers, particular in the machinery and engineering sectors.

“We have close to 700 exhibitors booked in this year, which has followed a rising trend over the past five years,” Mr Jones said. “The applications have been of a high standard so we expect crowds to enjoy a vast range of quality exhibits this year.”
A record number of exhibitors and close to 23,000 visitors attended, which is well up on the long term average for gate numbers. Dowerin Events Management Chairman Ashley Jones said the high number of visitors on the back of last year’s 50th could be attributed to not only the positive outlook for the season but also the success of the event in recent years.
